On the eve of the new year, the Litera Centre traditionally sums up the results of the past year. It was a colourful year for us, full of new discoveries and achievements.
The 2019 graduates are our pride. Not only have you successfully completed language courses at our Centre, but you have also managed to fulfil yourselves in the new society. Many of you started your own business, went to university, found new interesting jobs and passed the national exam for Polish as a foreign language. We are proud of you and wish you success in the new year. And if you need help or friendly support, you always know where to find it - at the Litera Centre.
For us, 2019 has been a year of new things in learning.
We opened English language courses for adults and children. In the summer, specialised school preparation courses were held at the Centre. In autumn, the first Russian-language IT school in Wrocław opened its doors on the basis of the Centre. Experts and current practitioners now teach web design and programming courses at the school. Next year we plan to expand the range of courses. After all, we believe that to become successful you need three types of knowledge - speciality, computer technology and foreign languages. And from 2019, all three can now be mastered in one place - Litera Centre for Education and Development.
All this has become possible thanks to our team of professionals, which has been supplemented with talented teachers, methodologists and experts. In addition, the school has new cosy classrooms, a children's corner, a library with books in different languages and board games. An online secretariat was opened for the convenience of our students. The life of the Centre was also actively reflected on Litera's social media pages. Contests were organised, teaching materials, useful information and news were published there.
Throughout the year we tried to be useful and help every immigrant feel at home in Poland. The Litera Centre hosted meetings with experts from various fields, where you could ask questions and, most importantly, get reliable first-hand information. Friendly gatherings, workshops, excursions, festivals and many other interesting events were organised by the Administration of the Centre in 2019 for everyone.
In the new year, we are not going to stop in our development.
We plan to open new areas of study and to help and support our alumni and apprentices.
