In 2016, the program "Rodzina 500+" (Family 500+) was launched in Poland. It provides for a monthly allowance of 500 zlotys per child. This program can also be used by foreigners residing in the Republic of Poland.
As part of the Family 500 Plus project, parents can receive a child care allowance of 500 zlotys per month per child.
Families whose income does not exceed PLN 800 net per person or PLN 1,200 net (in families raising a child with disabilities) can count on this benefit. This is PLN 6,000 net annual support for a child. The upbringing benefit is provided until the child reaches 18 years of age.
