How to learn the words that were covered in class?
You cram all day and in the morning you can't remember anything. Maybe you're doing something wrong...
Try using the algorithm for working with the dictionary from Litera
He has already helped several dozen of our students remember and work on their vocabulary.
- Make it a habit to write down new words in a special notebook/notepad
- Make lists of words by category to build associations. For example, "home", "work", "school", "verbs of motion", etc.
- Look at the exact meaning of the new word
- Use a dictionary where the explanations are given in Polish
- Listen to how to pronounce the new word correctly
- Repeat the word out loud several times.
- Read the examples of the word and notice how many meanings it has.
- Make up some phrases and sentences with the new word.
- Think about the situations in which you can use all meanings of the word
- Write the word several times (optimally 10 times) to remember the correct spelling
- Repeat new words the next day and a week later
Don't forget to review your notes from time to time and refresh your memory of the knowledge.
