It is no secret that in Europe almost all locals use bicycles. It is convenient, environmentally friendly and cheap. In Poland, this type of transport is very popular: there are bike paths almost everywhere, parking lots near offices and shopping centers. Near the latter, there are also stations for pumping up tires and minor repairs. But what if you have just moved to Wroclaw and have not yet acquired your own iron horse? We advise you to rent a bike.
And it's easy to do!
Anyone can rent a bicycle, regardless of whether they are visiting for a short time or living in the city permanently.
First step:
Visit the site https://wroclawskirower.pl and register.
In Wroclaw, bike rental is provided by the world-famous company Nextbike. In addition to Poland, Nextbike bike rentals are available on 4 continents, in 23 countries and in more than 100 cities. By the way, having received an account in Poland, you can use the services in all countries where Nextbike bike rental is available.

Step two:
To activate your account, deposit 10 PLN via your bank account.
Step three:

Step Four:
After depositing 10 PLN into your account, you can rent 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, from the beginning of April until the end of November.
So, you are at the rental station, go to the terminal and select "Rent". Then follow the instructions on the terminal board.
Select the bike you like and enter its personal code.
Then the security code for this bike will appear on the terminal screen (we recommend that you remember it). It should unlock automatically, if this does not happen, use the code you received earlier.
You can take up to 4 bikes per account. The usage time will be counted separately for each of them.
Step Five:
Enjoy your bike ride.
Return:
You can return your bike at any station. When you arrive at a Nextbike rental point, fix your iron horse. Select "Return" on the terminal screen. Then follow the instructions.
Be sure to check that your bike is locked. If the station is full, you can lock your bike to the station itself or to another bike using a combination lock.

The first 20 minutes of the trip are free;
from 20 minutes to 60 minutes – 2 zlotys;
Each subsequent hour will cost 4 zlotys.
If you are a Multisport bonus card holder, Nextbike provides you with 60 free minutes of rental every day.
Fines:
Fee for exceeding 12 hours of bicycle rental – 200 PLN;
Theft, loss or destruction of a bicycle – PLN 2,000.
