What is #NaszWrocław and why is it worth taking part in this project?
If you live in Wroclaw and like to spend your free time actively, you will be interested to know about the city program "Nasz Wrocław". Participants of this project receive discounts, bonuses and even travel on public transport is available to them at a reduced price.
Joining the project is easier than you think. The main requirement for participants is to file an annual income tax return (PIT) and live in Wroclaw. And of course, register on the website or via the app. By the way, students and schoolchildren (13 to 18 years old) can also take part in the project. The former apply for PIT ZEROWY, and the latter's parents must be participants in the program.
And if you already own a PREMIUM URBANCARD, you will automatically get access to the NASZ Wrocław project.
The purpose of this program is:
- To make the urban environment safer, friendlier and more comfortable;
- To involve city residents in the active life of Wroclaw;
- Support local entrepreneurs;
- Help save money when visiting cultural, artistic, sports and educational institutions of the city.
In addition to discounts on tickets to museums, cinemas and entertainment centres, Nasz Wrocław participants pay only 1 zloty for a single ride on public transport in the city. This promotion is only available to holders of a monthly rail pass (Nasz Wrocław Kolej).
The Nasz Wrocław Kolej also gives the right to use all types of public urban transport at a discounted price: 1 zloty for a regular ticket and 0.5 zloty for a discounted one. The travel card is issued for a round trip with the final and initial stations "Wroclaw" or "Iwiny" at the basic rate and costs no less than 104 zloty. Unfortunately, it can only be paid for in person at the railway ticket office.
Even if you don't use Polish railways, there is good news for you.
Surely, you already know that from January 1, 2021, the fares for public transport in Wrocław have increased. However, for those who pay taxes and participate in the Nasz Wroclaw program, the price of travel has not changed. Tickets are available at the Nasz Wrocław fare. For students under 21 and pensioners, travel is free.
