Each module is a practical lesson: short theory, analysis of examples and work on your own project.

  1. 01

     Lesson 1. Basics of development tools and environment

    In this lesson, you'll learn the basic tools of a web developer. We'll cover working with the terminal, installing and using Node.js and npm to manage packages, setting up code editors and extensions. You'll also learn how to work with Git and GitHub for version control, creating repositories, and performing basic push, pull, and commit commands.

  2. 02

     Lesson 2. Introduction to Web Development. Web Pages and Their Structure

    You will learn what a web page is and how websites are structured. We will consider the concepts of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, get acquainted with browsers and servers. We will explain the basics of the HTTP and HTTPS protocols, as well as working with URLs. You will master the developer tools in browsers for checking and changing the page code.

  3. 03

     Lesson 3. HTML Basics. Page Structure

    You will learn basic HTML tags and their attributes, learn how to create semantic markup, and will also get an introduction to accessibility in web development so that websites are convenient for all users.

     Lesson 4. Introduction to CSS. Page Style

    You will learn basic CSS properties such as color, font, background, and padding. We will look at the cascade and specificity of styles, as well as Flexbox and Grid methods for layout. You will learn how to design a page so that it looks neat and modern.

  5. 05

     Lesson 5. Tailwind CSS. Quick page design

    You will learn how to use Tailwind CSS to quickly style web pages. The lesson will show you how to apply utility classes, create responsive layouts, and add animations without writing a lot of custom CSS.

  6. 06

     Lesson 6. Responsive layout and media queries

    You will understand the principles of a mobile-first approach and create responsive layouts using Flexbox, Grid, and Tailwind. You will also learn how to use media queries to correctly display pages on different devices and screens.

     Lesson 7. Modern CSS Methods. Preprocessors and PostCSS

    You will learn CSS variables, loops and functions, get acquainted with SCSS (Sass) and its advantages. You will also be shown how to use PostCSS and plugins to optimize your code and improve page performance.

     Lesson 8. JavaScript Basics. Introduction to Dynamic Page Behavior

    You will get acquainted with JavaScript syntax, learn variables, data types and operators. We will analyze conditional constructions, cycles and functions. You will start creating dynamic elements on pages and work with simple user interaction scenarios.
