2020 results

On the eve of the new year, Litera Centre is taking stock of the past year. For us, as for many around the world, it was a difficult year, full of challenges and achievements.

Traditionally, we should start with words of honour to our students and graduates. We are proud of you - you were not afraid of difficulties, quarantine, new realities and continued to "chew the granite of science" together with us. You followed all the recommendations, kept social distance and studied online for the sake of knowledge and future. Thanks to your persistence and our professionalism, the courses "remotely" from Liter appeared.

How we took on the 2020 challenge

Pandemic spurred us to create and promote a new service - online courses from Liter. Spring became the reporting point for the launch of the learning platform. We had no time for testing and "polishing". It was urgent to transfer classes to "remote" and launch lessons in the new format. With the support of students and partners, we became a single mechanism for implementing this idea. And everything worked out. We did not put a "barn lock" on the school, we opened the doors of the online classrooms. Nothing has changed for our students: live lessons, useful videos and homework. Only safely and without disruption. And thanks to this, Liter students successfully passed their exams and received certificates. In addition, during the quarantine period, online classrooms were filled with the voices of applicants. The changes affected both the IT school of Lietera and the courses for children. We are proud that we were not afraid of the challenge of 2020 and overcame the difficulties with dignity.

But we weren't quarantined all year.

Some classes returned to full-time education. This year has brought changes to the educational process. Rituals such as checking the temperature, disinfecting all surfaces in the school, wearing masks and being ready to go back to online learning at any moment have become the norm. But what has definitely remained the same is the attention to each student and the love for what we do.

We learnt to appreciate even more the moments of rare meetings at master classes and consultations. We tried to use every opportunity to make the most of our time. After all, our team is united by the main goal of the school - to be useful and to help every immigrant feel at home in Poland.

Litera staff went live with news, published useful information, answered questions and just tried to cheer you up. The life of the Centre has largely moved to Litera's social media pages and YouTube channel. We do not plan to shift the focus and will continue to please with new articles, tests and interesting videos. But we will also have offline meetings.

In addition, the year 2020 taught us optimism, strengthened our desire to be useful and needed by you, dear readers, students and graduates of the Liter Centre. We believe that next year will be better and more productive for each of us! The Centre's team is not going to stop at what has been achieved. We plan to continue to open new directions and search for alternative methods of education. Happy New Year!

Sincerely, the Administration of the Centre and the whole friendly Litera family
