Our Polish language school Litera turns eight years old!

Eight years in the Polish rhythm

Over the years, Litera has grown from a course for those just starting to learn Polish into a fully-fledged educational and cultural centre with a telc examination centre licence.

At Litera, we know: language is the key to a new life. Courses for adults and children, in Wroclaw and online throughout Poland, help not only learn Polish, but also enroll in university, find a job, start your own business, or confidently take the path to residency.

We will not talk in numbers - how many certificates have been issued and how many students have graduated. Something else is more important to us: each student remains a part of Litera. We keep in touch after the courses - some come back for a new level, some bring friends and relatives. Isn't this the best proof of trust?

Telc certificate? Easy!

Since 2024, we have been an official centre for the international telc exam. This means that you can now prepare for and take the exam in a familiar, warm atmosphere – with teachers who know how to turn anxiety into confidence.

When things didn't go according to plan

This year also brought a couple of surprises. Our Instagram blog, into which we had invested so much love and time, was suddenly blocked — without warning or explanation. But we did not give in. We decided: since this is how it is, it’s time for a change. We launched a new page, came up with a fresh visual and threw all our efforts into creating short, useful videos.

Culture, people and comfort

To make learning lively, the Litera team is constantly coming up with something new. For example, this year we got a radio, and before that, a board game that helps you learn Polish idioms and have a good laugh. Because learning at Litera is always a little bit fun, a little bit unexpected and very real.

There is also a library, a conversation club, a media library with online access, and even vintage items for interactive activities. Here you can discuss Polish cinema, hold old banknotes in your hands, and understand how Poles lived half a century ago — all for the sake of better immersion in the language and culture.

Litera is about people. And about the language that unites!
