The school year has started and all first graders in Poland are waiting to receive their first document - a school certificate.
What is it and what is it given to the guys for?
First of all, it is the main document confirming that its owner is a schoolchild. It is issued only in the school where the child is studying. In order to obtain a certificate, a photo must be brought. The document must contain the child's name, surname and date of birth, as well as the name and address of the school.
The certificate is valid from 30 September of the year in which it was issued until 30 September of the following year. If the child does not change school, the certificate is renewed every year. For this purpose, a special mark with a stamp is put in it. The document is tied to the school that issued it. Thus, if you change schools, you need to get a new certificate.
Remember, this is a compulsory document in Poland. Only it can serve as a child's identity card during examinations, Olympiads, extracurricular activities and competitions.
You also need your school ID card to get discounts on transport, museum, zoo and cinema tickets.
Every child should treat the ID card with care and carry it with them.
