Having dropped in on the lesson of our Polish "Mary Poppins" - Mrs. Agata - last Saturday, we were surprised by what an interesting and important topic was offered to the children. Were they learning about currencies of different countries of the world?
The kids learned the names of the monetary units of Ukraine, Russia, Poland and other countries. They remembered how to count in a playful way. And Mrs. Agata paid special attention to the Polish zloty, because one of the most common mistakes is the correct use of the name of the Polish currency.
?Confess, you also had a question at first: what is the correct way to say “I have 4 zł (złote or złotych)?”?
