All you will need to do is apply for and receive an UrbanCard Premium.
First of all, let us remind you what the UrbanCard is. It is a personalised urban transport card in Wrocław. In other words, it is a travel card for land transport. The card is issued free of charge. UrbanCard is very convenient to use. For example, if your card is stolen or lost, you can easily recover it. How do you get discounts on this card, you ask.
When you apply for a travel pass, you need to request Premium status. It is the UrbanCard with Premium status that gives you the opportunity to save money. If you already have an UrbanCard, change its type. If you are only planning to apply for a travel card, then request an UrbanCard Premium at once. A card with premium status can only be issued to Wrocław residents who pay income tax in Wrocław (i.e. file a PIT). You can also apply for an UrbanCard Premium for a child under 18 years of age, provided that one of the parents has a premium card.
The validity of the card is 12 months from the date of receipt. The card issued for a child will be valid for the same period as the parents' card. 30 days before the card expires, you will receive a reminder email to confirm your status.
The card can be issued or replaced from the comfort of your home.
To do so, please follow this link https://www.wroclaw.pl/urbancard-premium/zloz-wniosek Enter your details, contacts and indicate your tax office (Urząd skarbowy) where you will submit the PIT. Wait for the confirmation, it will be sent to your e-mail. In the email you will receive instructions for further data verification. If everything has been entered correctly and you are a bona fide taxpayer, you will be approved for a reward card.
You can also apply for an UrbanCard Premium at ul. Kotlarska 41 or ul. Wróblewskiego 1-5.
The UrbanCard Premium card is issued only at the City Office (Urząd Miejski Wrocławia) on Kotlarskiej 41. The opening hours of the customer service centre are weekdays (Monday to Friday) from 7:45 to 15:45. For more information please call 71/777 77 77 .
