Why is the telc exam easier to pass than the state exam?

If you are worried about your grammar skills, the telc exam can be a great alternative to the state exam in Polish. Here are some reasons why:

- focus on speaking skills: telc puts a strong emphasis on the oral part of the exam, which is especially important for those who are unsure of their grammar. If you speak more than you write, this is your chance!

— test format: most of the tasks are in the form of tests, which makes it easier to pass the exam. The only exceptions are the written task (writing an e-mail) and the oral part;

- it's easier to hand over: the statistics speak for themselves - the percentage of successful passing of the telc exam is significantly higher than that of the state exam (Egzamin języka polskiego);

 - official confirmation: Even if you have not studied grammar in depth, you have the opportunity to receive an official certificate confirming your knowledge of the Polish language.

Structure of the telc exam:

  • Rozumienie ze słuchu (test form) - checking listening skills
  • Rozumienie text pisaneg (test form) - understanding of written text
  • Gramatyka (test form) - basic knowledge of grammar
  • Pisanie - a written assignment (for example, writing an e-mail)
  • Egzamin ustny - an oral exam that includes a description of a picture, situation or dialogue with a partner

Important:

The exam is taken on one day, which allows you to avoid the stress of lengthy preparation for several parts on different days.

If you want to quickly confirm your knowledge of the Polish language, the telc exam is your best choice!
