Today we eat doughnuts and celebrate Fat Thursday (Tłusty czwartek)?

The habit of eating doughnuts on the last Thursday before Lent began in the 17th century. Over the centuries, Poles' tastes have changed: instead of salty doughnuts with cracklings, they eat only sweet ones. The main condition for modern doughnuts is to be well-fried, but the filling can be different. ? The most popular fillings for sweet pastries are marmalade, rose petal jam; everything is sprinkled with powdered sugar or glazed on top.
On Fat Thursday, every resident of Poland should enjoy at least one delicious, airy, melt-in-your-mouth donut!
?
?And tomorrow we will “burn” calories based on the calculation that 1 donut weighing 70 grams contains approximately 400 kcal.
We can run fast - 15 minutes, ride a bike - 21 minutes, wash windows - 57 minutes or just sit and do nothing in front of the TV - 10 hours?
While we think about which training option to choose, let's enjoy the tradition of this wonderful holiday! Everyone for donuts!
Who has already tried it? What flavors do you recommend?☕
